I was fortunate to become friends with Maddy in early high school through the Fairview Wrestling team as a manager. We spent countless Saturdays and weekends together and became close friends. Maddy brought his energy, witty humor, and kindness everywhere he went. From lunches at Buffalo Wild Wings to hiking adventures, Maddy was always excited to try anything new, making fun in all situations. I am so deeply saddened for Maddy and the loss of the world without Maddy in it. Maddy will be greatly missed by those who were lucky enough to cross paths with him. Sending love to all of Maddy’s friends and family, I will keep Maddy in my thoughts.
Thanks for sharing those memories and the picture, Abby. I remember the many days in the bleachers watching the boys and seeing them having both amazingly good days and sometime really difficult days. My memory is that Maddy had a mostly great attitude whether he was wining or losing and so appreciate you for being a good friend to him during all the tournaments and competitions. xoxox
