I met Maddy in 2014 at a hostel in Barcelona. I got really lucky running into him, because I quickly learned that it was impossible not to have a good time with maddy. He was such a joy! We formed a small crew that weekend-- exploring, eating, drinking and having a good time with strangers who became friends. I've been off facebook for a few months and was deeply saddened to hear about Maddy. What a good dude. I only had a few days with him but he left an impact. Sending love to all of his friends and family.
Hey, thank you so much for writing here and recounting a little of your Barcelona stories with this Maddy. This would have been right after the rest of our family left. It's so lovely (and unsurprising) to hear that he left an impact even though you knew each other so briefly :)
