Leann Hillegas, another one of Maddy's sweet friends from Cal Poly, created this stunning drawing of Maddy and sent it to us, his family, as a unique way to remember him. She let us know that she wanted to honor him in this special way and how he always praised her for drawing and personal art. Leann, our whole family-near and far-is just filled up by this totally thoughtful gesture and we hope you continue to express yourself so beautifully through your art.
