What would Maddy have done?

Perhaps some of Maddy's family and friends feel certain about some of what Maddy would have thought, would have done and the interests he would pursue. I have occasionally asked myself, what would Maddy have done. Recently I had a volunteer experience that I could easily see Maddy doing. I participated in a training for The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program that educates volunteers about disaster preparedness (think earthquakes, floods, wildfires, etc.) and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. Volunteers are not required to participate in all of these activities after they complete the training and I don't expect to myself, but I thought about how great Maddy would have been in this work when I participated in a training exercise recently and how he would have enjoyed the teamwork and the giving to others.
