Maddy was an incredible person. Still in awe of how quickly he could brighten a room or break up a funk. He was truly, uniquely special as a wellspring of positivity and optimism. What he set out to do, personally and professionally, he did, which is a rarity. Things are a bit darker without you man, but I hope we learned enough from ya while you were here to drive the brightness, love, and light back into our lives and the lives of those we care about through the humor, empathy, compassion, and dank dabbing techniques that you taught us.
Patrick, every time you share a photo or an anecdote, we feel close to him through you. Keep them coming!
Thanks Patrick, these pictures are so good! Have you had a chance to look at the gallery? My mom posted the classic (in our family) picture of Maddy with his beloved 'engine' he started making when he was about 4 or something. It's so so cool to see these photos next to that one. The engines are basically the same I'm sure.... Would love to know any more details about these photos if you have them whenever you get a chance.
Love, Hanna (Maddy's big sister)
