These are the last photos - and memes - I got from Maddy. So many talks about books and plants and how we could continue to do our best in any area of our lives (including how to get better at keeping our plants alive.) The famous pinecone collection, and his proud "first"(!) french braid. He sent me photos from a beautiful hike with his parents a few days before he and I got to go on our own and were caught in a blizzard.
Thinking of you always, especially with the launches approaching.
So much love to you and the whole family. Thank you for keeping us updated and continuing to share so many resources. It's no wonder Maddy was so special.
Dear Simone,
This message, these photos, and these slightly-funny-but-you've-done-better-Maddy memes are priceless. I got some, but not all of these photos! What a hilarious book collection selfie.... and those books! Have you read any of these? I have yet to get my hands on them, but I can't wait. THE PINECONES. And the plants... he's definitely taken better care of those than I have of any plant I've encountered. Where did you guys go on your hike together?
I'm so glad you've posted, this is really really lovely to see and I think is exactly why this forum can be so beautiful. I know I and many other feel immense love from this. And it truly makes a massive difference. I'm glad you appreciate the updates and resources, too. So much love back to you. When I'm back in Colorado (which will at least be in May, if not sooner), if you want, I'd love to meet up for coffee/walk/hug whatever (I can send you my number via the email if you want). And reach out literally anytime!
Big love from Berlin,
Hanna
Oh, Simone. These are amazing photos and memes you've shared. It means everything to us to see these glimpses and hear connected he was to you. It's fantastic that you shared that picture of his braid-I did that! Boy his hair was something special. My heart aches with how much we all miss him. Love to you. Jordana
