Sharing a donut with you today

You and I share a love for donuts—the perfect food. I went to Randy’s donuts (the original one, of course!) at midnight (you know about those late night donut runs) just to feel like I was sharing something we both felt passionate about. I am not with your family today and I wanted to do something to help make me feel like I was joining them in spirit.
BTW, your mom and Shelly and I used to do do donut runs in high school—a lot! I’m sure she told you about the Apple fritters. I think about you and your family often and I wish we could have gone on a late night donut run together. I’m sure you would have gotten me to try some type of new donut. Sending all my love from LA
