Mongo Mangoes
When I think of Maddy, I will always think of his bright smile and his contagious laughter. I will think of his positivity, his enthusiasm and his leadership. I remember Maddy as one of my best friends and closest confidants in fifth grade. When I think of him, our fifth grade class “theme song/anthem” comes to mind. Our class was called the Mongo Mangoes and I can still hear Maddy singing the song and leading our class along with Liz (Maddy was Liz’s Vice President; they made the best team!). I’m heartbroken that Maddy has left us too soon. Reading everyone’s stories about him really shows how many lives he’s touched and what an adventurous life he led. My deepest love goes to Maddy’s family and close friends.
